The Singing Silver Unicorn Posts: 6,951 Group: Global Moderators Member #6 Joined: Jul 6, 2008	As most of you have seen, Snowy's job has been steadily getting worse and worse. On top of micromanaging, over bureaurocrating (is that a word?) and general incompetence being shown by the Powers-That-Be in Chickapee, there has been some very specific...shall we say, brown and squishy material...things being thrown directly at Snowy. One of the many final straws is the fact the he ended up not getting home until 9 last night, was initially told that he had to be in at 4:15 this morning, only to find out that he didn't have to be in until 6...and finding out that, even tho he had the second biggest load, not getting a helper, when someone with a MUCH smaller load did. He was THIS close to resigning - he even had his locker emptied out. A couple of the local managers talked him into just taking a day to "cool down". We have been looking for something else, but you know what the job market is right now. I managed to find one possibility that he sent an e-mail to, and he also contacted a friend to see if there was an opening where he works. He may post later, explaining more (and better than I can - I may have even gotten some of the stuff above slightly wrong), but he is REALLY depressed and angry, so he may not. My poor Snowy needs a lot of prayer: that he makes the right decision about this job; that another, better job comes along; that he can fight this depression; but most importantly, that he can find God's Will for him in this whole situation.
