the Insurgent Posts: 1,326 Group: Admins Member #8 Joined: Jul 7, 2008	I was taking the Heathen back to her Mom’s the other night and she began telling me; not in a hateful way, that her Mom was driving her nuts mothering her so much. She said her Mom was always telling her she needs to eat; she needs to dress warmly; she needs to get more sleep; etc. and while she loved her Mom it was driving her crazy. Curious, I asked her, “What do I do that drives you crazy? You can tell me; I won’t be offended." Ashley blurted out, “You are such a twelve year old! I constantly have to tell you, ‘Dad, don’t play with that. Dad, don’t eat that it’s not good for you. Dad, those people think you’re crazy and you’re making them nervous. Dad, remember, the police never think it’s as funny as you do.’ I swear between Mom over mothering me and me having to be a Mother to you I’ll know just the right balance when it comes to raising my kids!” What can I say? The truth’s the truth! I’m just doing my part to prepare her for Motherhood! It is sweet though the way she tries to mother me.
